Henry married Elizabeth Haffenden on 26 Nov 1838 at Heathfield, Sussex. Both Henry and Elizabeth were of full age, Henry was a farmer, living in Ewhurst, Sussex, his father was Thomas a Butcher. Elizabeth was living in Heathfield, the daughter of Robert Haffenden a farmer. The ceremony was performed by J Goeng (?) the vicar, witnesses were Benjamin Punphett (?) and Sarah Haffenden. Both Henry and Elizabeth signed their full names. ^[2]
