Biography

Nancy Cross Burk was born on April 30, 1845, in Gilead, Maine, the daughter of Charles B. and Pamelia Burk.

Nancy married Alfred Nelson Twitchell on June 21, 1863, in Dummer, New Hampshire. They lived in Milan^[1] and Gorham, New Hampshire^[2] and had one daughter:

1. Flora Etta, born 1869

Nancy died on January 8, 1926, in Gorham, New Hampshire, where she had resided for 50 years.^[3] She is buried in Hillcrest Cemetery, in Milan, New Hampshire.^[4]
