Arthur Alfred Patrick Burns was born on 30 Jan 1910 in Mosman, New South Wales, Australia He was the son of Arthur Patrick Burns and Elizabeth Ethel (Middleton) Burns. [1] He was baptised on 27 Mar 1910 in Sydney, New South Wales. [2]

Arthur married Lily Gill in 1941 in Victoria, Australia. [3]

Arthur Alfred Burns served in World War 2 with the Australian Army, Service Number: V354350, attaining the rank of Private. His Next of kin was BURNS, ELIZABETH. He enlisted on 04 June 1941 at Brunswick, Victoria. His posting at discharge was: V D C 1 BN. He was released from service on 11 October 1943. [4]

Arthur died on 27 Feb 1995 in Flemington, Victoria aged 85. Arthur is buried in Fawkner Memorial Park, Fawkner. [5]
