Biography
Amy Burrows was born probably in 1774. She was a daughter of Nathan Burrows and Amy (Williams) Burrows of Groton, Connecticut.
Amy married Mason Packer (1772-1821), with whom she had seven children, as profiled.
The 1850 U.S. census charted Amy (here termed Anna) at age 75, residing in the household of her son George, in Groton [1].
Amy (Burrows) Packer passed away in Groton, Connecticut, 1 November 1857 [2]. Her grave is in Packer Cemetery, West Mystic, New London County, Connecticut, USA [3].
Notes
The cited death & cemetery record for Amy states that she died in November 1, 1857, at age 73. The cited census record which gives her age as 75 was generated on 21 September 1850. From these two records, the year of her birth can be fixed as 1774.
