Amherst Co., Virginia - Mar 1775 - Ann Johnson, administrator of the estate of Jonathan Johnson dec'd - is granted her, with Charles Burrus & Thomas Lumphin her securities, posted bond of $1,000.

1776 - Charles Burrus as guardian of orphans Jonathan Johnson (Charles Burrus is the brother of Ann Burrus Johnson)
