Biography

Alfred Henry Burton was born on 29 March 1853. He was the son of William Fitzwilliam Burton and Coralie Augusta Frederica Lloyd.

He studied surgery and medicine at the universities of London and Aberdeen.

Alfred lived with his parents in Kensington, London, Middlesex, England and in Bromley, Kent, England.

His mother died in 1892 and his father remarried.

His father died in 1909.

Alfred died on 6 April 1937 at the age of 84, unmarried.
