Patience was born about 1785. She is the daughter of John Buster and Elizabeth "Eliza" Woods. She passed away in 1864.^[1]

Research Notes

• On FamilySearch.org, Family Tree, the profile of Patience originally indicated that Patience is the daughter of William John Buster Jr (1729-1795) and Jane (Woods) Buster (abt.1735-abt.1812). Patience is not listed on these two WikiTree profiles as their child. IF Patience were their child, Jane would have been 50 years old at the time of her birth. Plus the death record of Patience states John and Eliza Burton. Since her birth name appears several ways in records, Buster has been used at the birth name.
• in the death register the "Informant" field contains ditto marks from the record above for a Matt Winfield who died 21 Feb 1864 in Albemarle County. The informant for Matt was Martha Wingfield, wife. The relationship of the informant to Patience Wheat is given as sister.^[1] Patience was living with the family of Matthew & Martha Wingfield in the 1860 Census.
• With the information found for Martha, it appears that the two were the children of a John Buster and Elizabeth "Eliza" Woods. John Buster is actually a brother to William John Buster Jr (1729-1795). Someone remarked on the FamilySearch profile of William John that his middle name was not John per any record found. The fact that a son by the name of John existed would support that claim. BJS
