John Clinton Buster, 78, former manager of the Southern Ice and Cold Storage Co., died today in a hospital.
Buster, of 2532 Lubbock, was the son of a pioneer Denton County physician, Dr. O. C. Buster.
He was a deacon at Broadway Baptist Church and a member of the business men's Bible Class, a member of Hemphill Heights Lodge, AF & AM, Hemphill Heights Chapter, Royal Arch Mason, Mosiah Temple Shrine, Worth Commandery No. 19, Knights Templar.
Buster was a past president of the South Side Lions Club and one of its founders.
Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Milton B. Capers and Mrs. Patsy Cole of Fort Worth and Mrs. John R. Willingham of Lawrence, Kan., a brother, W. G. Buster of Dallas; a half-sister, Mrs. Anna Shumate of Houston, seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Fleming Chapel of Broadway Baptist Church. Burial will be in Rose Hill.
