Charles Christopher Butcher was born on 10 August 1883 in Richmond, New South Wales, Australia [1], the son of Christopher Butcher and Sarah Quinn and the brother of Elizabeth M. Butcher, Amelia Butcher, Sadelia Butcher, Alfred Butcher, Sarah A. Butcher, Albert Henry Butcher and Ellen T. Butcher.
He married Ruby Gladys Carter on 4 February 1914 in Dural, New South Wales, Australia [2] and their children were Una Butcher,Iris Nellie "Peggy" Butcher, Alfred Charles Butcher, Edward John Butcher, Kenneth "Mick" Butcher, Richard N. Butcher and Ronald Butcher.
Christopher died on 7 October 1952 in Dural, New South Wales, Australia [3]and was buried in the St. Jude's Church of England Cemetery, Dural, New South Wales, Australia, possibly in the Central Sector, Row 12, Grave 8, but there is no headstone to confirm [4].
