Early Life

Mary Butler was born on 17 Oct 1726 in Chilmark, Dukes, Massachusetts, daughter of David Butler (1699–1769) and Anna Hatch (~1706–1745).[2]

Family

Mary married Rowland Luce about 1745.[3][4]

Rowland (Roland) Luce died in 1767.[4]

Mary married Thomas Allen 24 Dec 1770 in Tisbury, Dukes, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was the son of Ichabod Allen and Elizabeth Belcher and they moved to Litchfield County, Connecticut, United States in 1775.[4][16]

Death

Mary died on 3 Aug 1793, aged 66 in Sharon, Litchfield, Connecticut, United States. She is buried at the Ellsworth Burial Ground in Sharon, Litchfield Connecticut, United States[17]
