Samuel, son of Henry Butler & Elizabeth Saunders was born on 29 April 1832 in Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, England.[1]

In the 1851 census Samuel (age 18), Farm Labourer, was the unmarried son of Henry Butler in Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, England.[2]

In the 1861 census Samuel (age 29), Labourer, was the married head of household in Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, England.[3]

In the 1881 census Samuel (age 49), Ag Lab, was the married head of household on High Street, Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambridgeshire, England.[4]
