He was the son of William Butter and Ella Johnson. [1] Lossie is 12 years old and still living with his parents on the 1920 census. [2]
In 1940 Lossie, his wife Myrtle and their only child, Violet, were enumerated on the 1940 census living in Longleaf, Rapides Parish, Louisiana. [3]
Their daughter, Violet, died in 1944. Lossie and Myrtle are named as her parents on the death record. [4]
He passed away 16 April 1982 in Forest Hill, Rapides Parish, Louisiana.
