Biography

Donald Butter was born 6 September 1869 in Dundee, Scotland. His father was David Butter and his mother was Agnes Yeoman Barnet. ^[1]

Donald Butter and Lillian Edwards were married in December 1902, possibly on Christmas Day but the newspaper article was not clear on the exact day. In 1910 Donald and Lillian are living in Moline, Illinois and they have three children. The oldest child is seven years old so that is consistent to their marriage being about 1902. ^[2]

In 1920 Lillian and Donald Butter still live in Moline, Illinois. They now have five children who all live at home. ^[3]

Donald Butter died 2 January 1924 in Moline, lllinois. He is buried in the Riverside Cemetery in Moline. ^[4]
