Occupation: Part-time policeman - joined the BSA Police Reserve in September 1977;Reg. No. A201340; served until August 1979
Demise: Killed in action - contact and engagement with enemy while serving as a Stick Leader with Auxiliary Reserve in (Operation Grapple)

Burial: Peniyasi Bvunzanayi's funeral was held on the 17 August in Gwelo. [3] .
