Biography

Edward came to Western Australia in the Westmoreland, [1]
arriving on 2 January 1840.
The colony of Western Australia
Perth, 1841
He married Jane Eliza Coates on 7 June 1841 in Perth.[2]
They had eight children in twenty years.

In 1844 Edward was the licensee of the Mahogany Creek Inn, and[1]
in 1845 was leasing land from the Habgood brothers.
He employed a Ticket of Leave tutor in 1863.
