Biography

Asa Bynum, Jr. was born January 19, 1822 to Asa Bynum and Rebecca Murphree in Blount County, Alabama.

Married to Elizabeth Bynum and had following children:

  1. Martha
  2. George
  3. B. W.
  4. John
  5. James Eli
  6. Rebecca
  7. Mary B.
  8. Sarah Adeline "Sally" Bynum

He died, at the age of 71, on September 18, 1893 in Blount County, Alabama. He is buried at the Bynum Family Cemetery, Ellison Crossroads, Blount County, Alabama.[1]
