Obituary
Taylor Bynum Passes Sunday [1]

Taylor Bynum died at his residence in the Martinville community early Sunday morning. He was eighty-one years of age and member of New Home Baptist Church.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at two oclock from the New Home Baptist Church with Revs. O. Swearington and Arnold officiating. Interment was New Home cemetery with Mendenhall Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Amanda Bynum; one son, Edward Bynum of Magee; four daughters, Mrs. Winnie Shows, Mrs. Euna Lucky, both of Mendenhall; Mrs. Janie Jones of Polkville, and Mrs. Mella Lucky of Laurel; 48 grandchildren; 90 great grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Wells of Mendenhall; Mrs. K. E. Roach of Bastrop, La., Mrs. Berta Waters of Goodrich, Texas; two brothers, W. H. Bynum of Mendenhall, and John Bynum of Magee.
