Bridget married William Stephen Barron on 1 September 1913 Port Au Port, Newfoundland, Canada.^[3]

In 1921 Bridget (age about 34) was living in Dunville, Placentia-St. Mary's, Newfoundland, Canada. Marital Status: Married; Relation to Head: Wife.^[1]

Bridget arrived in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada in March 1942 and continued into the United States via St. Albans, Vermont in August 1924.^[4][5][6]

Research Notes

On her border crossing card, Bride lists her Newfoundland contact as her mother, Mrs. John Derine. Ellen must have gotten remarried after Martin died.^[5]

The family was also traveling with Augustine Barron, 23, and Helen Ward, 16. Helen continued on to Boston with the family, while Augustine was headed to Essex, Massachusetts.^[11]
