Maude Cabell was born 29 August 1903 in Clayton, New York.
She married Laurence Olmsted in Queens, New York in 1930.
They had a son, Andrew.
They divorced before 1950.
She continued to live in the Albany, New York area.
Maude Olmsted died in Saratoga Springs, New York on 17 May 1997.
She was buried in her hometown in the Clayton Cemetery.
Obituary
Maud Cabell Olmsted, 93, of 462A Middle Grove Rd., died Saturday, May 17, 1997, at Wesley Health Care Center, Saratoga Springs. Born on August 29, 1903 in Clayton, she was the daughter of Henry Doane and Mabel Frances (Skinner) Cabell. She was a resident of Middle Grove for 28 years and was employed as a field representative for the American Cancer Society in Watertown for many years. One sister, Lillian Taylor, died before her.
Survivors include on son, Andrew Lee Olmsted II of Middle Grove, one sister, Maryann (Cabell) Flickinger of Indianapolis, Ind.; two granddaughters, Joanne Olmsted of Las Vegas, Nev. and Amanda Olmsted of Schenectady and two cousins.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be conducted at a later date at Clayton Cemetery, Clayton. Memorial may be directed to the American Cancer Society.[1]
