HENDERSONVILLE, NC - Stewart Cadden, 89 of Hendersonville, died October 12, 2006 at Pardee Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Portland, OR to the late Clarence Cadden, (AKA Ira Cutler) and Florence Lillian Hart Ryder.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Jane Cadden Shelegeyko and Norma Cadden, and one brother John Cadden.
He had resided in Hendersonville for the past 11 years, moving here from St. Petersburg, FL, where he had worked fifteen years at the AARP Pharmacy in St. Petersburg, FL. He had lived thirty five years in Yakima, WA where he had worked as a lumber salesman for several years with Boise Cascade. He was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty one years, Norma Ruth Glass Cadden; five daughters, Barbara Finfrock-Miller of Woodinville, WA, Louise Brown and husband Donald, Dorothy Davis of Yakima, WA, Evelyn Ketchen and husband Daniel of Bakersville, CA, and Patti Howell and husband Tommy of Cosmopolis, WA; eleven grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2006 in the Chapel of Forest Mortuary. The Reverend Dan Ketchen will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
