The marriage to Joseph Yelds was not registered until 1936
Death by paralytic stroke
Mrs. Joe Yelds. 65 years of age, died on Monday night at Mrs. Hare's boarding house, after a severe illness. Mrs. Yelds had been married twice, her first husband being Mr. DeCosta, to whom she reared three children. Mr. James DeCosta, of Burragate, is a son of hers.[1]
