David Victor Cain was born 15 Jun 1880 in Carson City, Ormsby, Nevada. He was the oldest child and son of James Cain and Martha Wells with two brothers and one sister.

Early Life

David Victor Cain, 19 years old was living with his parents and three siblings on Park Row in Bodie, Mono, California, on 8 June 1900. He was employed as a clerk in a bank^[1].

Marriage

He married Helen M Cody on June 15, 1904, in Bodie, California, when he was 24 years old.
