Thomas Wallace Calderhead, enlisted in Edinburgh he joined after May 1941. He was a Leading Aircraftman, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve. Service Number: 1573752 Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.[1] He along with many others traveled to the United States to learn to fly with the RAF.
Death and Burial
Thomas Wallace was a Cadet at Riddle Field, Clewiston, he was killed on the 04 May 1945 in a plane crash near Belle Glade. He had completed training and was shortly to receive his wings, he was just 20 years old. Rev. A. B. Lauenborg officiated.
