Elsie Eliza Caldwell was born on July 26, 1883 in Saint John Tooele County Utah, USA, daughter of David Henry Caldwell (1828–1904) and Fanny Catherine Johnson (1840–1921).

Her siblings were:

Elsie married Alexander Fleming (born on December 2, 1861 in Ontario, Canada).

Elsie died on January 29, 1944 in High River Alberta, Canada, aged 60. She was buried in Highwood Cemetery, High River, Calgary Census Division, Alberta.[1]
