Biography
Alexander Calhoun was born in November 1879 in Fenelon Falls, Ontario. The son of Robert Charles Calhoun and Elizabeth Anne (Parke) Calhoun. He married Vivian Mabel Moynes on July 1, 1908, at Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Together they had one son John Moynes Calhoun. Alexander was the first librarian of the Calgary Public Library in Calgary Alberta. He died in February 1979.
