Biography

Worked at Elliott Bros Rozelle. Probably milling drugs or sulphur in the Acid Plant. Elliott's were an Industrial Subscriber to the Balmain Hospital, and Charles represented them on the Hospital Board from 1928 to 1937. He initially resided in Rozelle but later bought land at Ryde. Sands 1907-1920 - 33 Rosser St, Rozelle. Sands 1924 - Crescent Ave Ryde. Electoral Roll No. 556 in 1932. Occ Mill Hand. 16 Crescent Ave Ryde. Electoral Roll No. 619 in 1935. Occ - Mill Hand. 16 Crescent Ave Ryde.
