Biography

Flora Cameron was born at Balitarsin, Islay in 1783 to parents Samuel Cameron and Flora MacGilivray and baptised at Kilarrow, Islay on 02 Feb 1783.^[1]

On 24 Feb 1807 Flora married Archibald Niven at Kilarrow.^[2] and between 1809 and 1824 they had seven children all registered in Bowmore Islay.

Flora passed away sometime after the birth of Archibald in 1824.

Research Notes

Unable to find any record of her death in National Registers of Scotland. An Archibald Niven/MacNiven (assume a different person) and a Flora Campbell also had 3 children in Kilarrow in the same period as Flora Cameron.
