Sorry to take so long with this reply. There is the possibility that the Alexander McKinnon (b.1819) that you refer to is the son of Donald McKinnon, b.1790 at Taraston). Assuming Neil was approximately the same age as his wife, he, too, could have been the son of Donald. Hope this helps. I want to do more work on the Donald McKinnon line, as I've hit a dead end in Scotland with Neil, father to Donald and John. Don Acton On 14-Oct-07, at 3:40 PM, Neil Cameron wrote:
