Biography

J D Frank Campbell was enumerated as head of the household in Beat 2 Cross Roads Precinct, Prentiss County, Mississippi for the June 12, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as a farmer and born March 1861 in Mississippi. He had been married fourteen years and was a renter as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Willie Campbell, son John K Campbell, son Benjamin F Campbell and hired man Clinton Clug.[1]

Frank Campbell was enumerated as head of the household at Crossroads, Prentiss County, Mississippi for the May 10, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1861 in Mississippi and had been married twenty-three years. He was a farmer on a general farm and an owner as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Willie Campbell, son B J [B F] Campbell, son Vance Campbell, boarder Ed Owens and boarder Ernnet Lewallen.[2]

Franklin J Campbell was enumerated as head of the household at Gulf Highway, Beat 4, Alcorn County, Mississippi for the January 2, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1862 in Mississippi. He was married, a renter and a farmer (farm) as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Willie Campbell, son Franklin B Campbell and son Vance Campbell.[3]

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[4] John Duncan Franklin Campbell is buried at Henry Cemetery in Corinth, Alcorn County, Mississippi.[5]
