His wife was a daughter of Benjamin Hawkins based on the Equity Court records which states she was a complainant and heir to Benjamin in regards to a land issue in McMinn County, TN. The record also states she married a John Campbell.[1]
From the census records no concrete date can be found for Blanche. Census records prior to 1850 show several John Campbells in TN but it cannot be determined if any are the John who married Blanche. It is possible she died prior to 1850. In the 1850 census there is a John and Blanche Campbell in Georgia but we have no indication they were the Campbells who may have moved from Tennessee to Georgia.
