Biography

Beatrix Campbell was born circa 1532 at Calder Castle, Nairnshire, Scotland, to Sir Archibald Grant, 2nd of Cawdor and Isabella Grant.

According to ClanMacFarlane, she first had a child, Elspeth Campbell, with Archibald Campbell, 5th Earl of Argyll, but this child is not shown as the product of marriage.

She married Patrick Grant, the 2nd of Glenmoriston, son of John 'Mor' Grant, 1st of Glenmoriston and Agnes Fraser, circa 1550. They had the following children:
