Biography
Richard Lee Campbell was born in 1885 in Cleburne County, AL to parents John Berry Campbell (1854-1940) and Mary (Delano) Campbell (1856-1930). [1]
Lee married George Mayne in Cleburne County, AL . [2]

Miss Lee Campbell, as she was known, until in her senior years married Reverend George Mayne, lived in our neighborhood all of my life. She once owned the property my parents eventually bought and lived on for some 65 years. Miss Lee lived most of her life with her only brother, Deroy. Miss Lee is buried in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Cleburne County, Alabama. (per Thomas Wright of Anniston Alabama, a relative of Miss Lee Campbell.)
