Biography

Alexis Campeau was born on September 11, 1779 in Detroit, Michigan, son of Alexis Campeau (1737–about 1782) and Madeleine Dumay (1745–before 1795).[1]

Alexis and Felicity Livernois were married August 21, 1810 in Detroit. Felicity was born on June 2, 1790 in Detroit, Wayne, United States. [1]

Alexis (44) and Magdelein Vermet (19) were married on March 2, 1824. Magdelena was born in 1802. [1]

Their children were:[1]

  1. Christopher Columbus Campau (1828–about 1861)
  2. Charles Francis Campau (1837–1913)
  3. Samuel Campau (1841–about 1841)
