Martha was baptised on the 13th January 1823[1] by her parents Davis and Elizabeth Canning at Ogbourne St Andrew in Wiltshire.

On the 24th inst., at Ogbourne St. Andrew, near Marlborough, John Russ, Esq., of Collingbourne Ducis, to Martha Anne, eldest daughter of the late Davis Canning, Esq., of the former place.
She was buried on the 11th October 1872[3] at Collingbourne Ducis in Wiltshire.
