Biography

Jeptha Harris Cannon was born December 18, 1823, in Greene county, Georgia, a son of Joshua T. Cannon and Elizabeth Harris. Jeptha first married Catherine S. (Roberts) Cannon. After her death in 1866, he married Rhoda Ann (Lassiter) Cannon. Jeptha died June 9, 1882 and is buried in the Bethel Cemetery, in Birdges Crossroad, Terrell county, Georgia. [1]
