Biography

Paul Travis Cannoy was born on 1 Jul 1927 at Menifee county, Kentucky. ^[1] He is seen at home with his parents and siblings in the 1940 US Census of Menifee county, Kentucky. ^[2] He married Helen M. Powers on 23 Aug 1947 at Menifee county, Kentucky. ^[3] She and Paul have three living children. Paul was employed by a Cincinnati, Ohio based trucking company. He was tragically killed in a head on collision with another truck near Pleasant Township, Van Wert, Van Wert county, Ohio on 9 Dec 1963. ^{[4] [5]} He was 36 years old ^{[6] [7] [8]} and is buried at Woodside Cemetery, Middletown, Butler county, Ohio. ^[9]

Hellen remarried James M. Kontnier on July 10, 1976 in Butler county, Ohio. ^[10] They were later divorced at some point prior to James' marriage to Marilyn Mathes Burgin on 23 Mar 1996 at Wakulla county, Florida. ^[11] James later died of cancer on 17 Jul 1996 at Tallahassee, Florida. This is seen in public records and in his obituary. ^{[12] [13]} Hellen is seen in public records at Middletown, Ohio in 2022. She is single and approaching 95 years of age. ^{[14] [15]}
