Willine WatsonWilline Watson, 84, of West Point, died Saturday, June 19, 2004 at North MS Medical Center-Tupelo.

She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Mrs. Watson was born in Clay County to the late Jessie Mae Hudson and William Thomas Caradine. She was predeceased by her second husband, Henry Duke Watson Jr Nov. 29, 1975

. She was predeceased by her first husband, Cordist Richard Smith and her sister, Elizabeth Lanham.

Visitation was Monday, June 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home. Funeral is today at 2 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Nancy Bishop and the Rev. Ben Butler officiating. Burial will be in Vinton Cemetery in West Point. Survivors include four sons, Richard Smith and wife Evelyn of West Point, George Watson and wife Sallie of Strong, Henry Watson, IV of Aberdeen, James M. Watson and wife Bonnie of West Point; two daughters, Patricia Cantrelle and husband Patrick of Columbus, Jane Upton and husband Carey of West Point; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Edith Mae Harmon, Emogene Turnage, Frances Berryhill, Jimmie Dell Berryhill and husband Grady, all of West Point.Pallbearers include Charlie Upton, Kevin Smith, G.F. Watson, Wesley Turnage, Tim Strickland and Thad Buck. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. Edmund A. Miller Jr., Dr. Mike Boland, Dr. Pat Ewing, Dr. Bo Calhoun and nurses in the CCU at the NMMC-Tupelo. Memorials may be sent to Christ United Methodist Church, 1230 Oak Drive, West Point, MS 39773 or to the donor of choice. Calvert Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
