Biography
When Clemmie Ella Carothers was born on December 26, 1861, in Arkansas, her father, David, was 22, and her mother, Sarah, was 21. She married Monroe Randolph Barger in 1883. They had five children during their marriage. She died on February 5, 1944, at the age of 82, and was buried in Lamar, Arkansas.
