Biography
George was born 18 Jan 1881 in Big Ridge, Uralla NSW.[1] He was the son of Job Carpenter and Sarah Billington.
George served in the army during WW1 in France. He married Maud Rebecca Bridget Butler 09 Dec 1909 at Guyra NSW. [2] Their children include:
1. Pheobe Lorna, born 10 Dec 1910, Inverell NSW, died 1955. She married Alan Henry Shapre and they had a daughter Fay.
2. Gladys Rebecca, born ? married John Andrew Withers and had a son Vivian John Withers.
3. Selby, born 1920 died 1920 Glenn Innes NSW.
He passed away 08 Dec1919 at Prince Albert Memorial Hospital Tenterfield NSW. [3]
