He was born in Sutton, Worcester, Massachusetts on 29 September 1811, the son of John Carpenter and Abigail Healey.[1][2]
Adams Carpenter was a horse trainer in Sutton. He died there aged 60 of 'softening of the brain' on 05 August 1871.[2] His death record confirms his parents as John, born Sutton, and Abigail, born Vermont.
