Biography

Hilda (Carraher) Baker was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)

Hilda was born in 1892 at Melbourne South, Victoria, Australia. She was the daughter of James Carraher and Sarah Hanlon^[1]

In 1914, Hilda married Frederick George Baker in Victoria^[2]. They had three children:

• Lloyd George Baker (1915-1985)^[3]
• Frederick Colin Baker (1918–1992)^[4]
• Hilda "Joan" (Baker) Hanna (1924–2014)^[5]

Hilda died in 1980 at Hobart, Tasmania, and is interred at Burnie Lawn Cemetery^[6].
