Joseph married Mary E. Jordan. They had 6 children. [1]

"Last Carroll to live on original homestead in Morris Twp., Washington Co., PA. Received land from his father Robert Sr. 6/12/ 1822. Robert lived in the home until his passing in 1831. He was on the 1830 census living with Joseph Carroll. Joseph's wife Mary E Jordon died 1842 and was buried in the Carroll Family Cem. Joseph sold the land on 3/30/1853 to Malchi Scott. Joseph went to Cornell, Amity Twp., Livingston Co., IL to live with his son Harrison Carroll. He died after 1853." (Courtesy of findagrave)
