Biography
Elizabeth Carruth was born on 2 Dec 1807 in Rutherford County, North Carolina, United States, daughter of James Carruth (1780–1847) and Mary Logan (about 1780– ).
Elizabeth (17) and William Hannon (19) were married on 12 Jan 1825 in Rutherford County.[1] William was born on 1 Aug 1805 in Polk County, North Carolina. He was the son of Edwin Hannon and Caroline Matilda (Earle) Hannon. Their known children were:
- Emily Carruth Hannon (1836–1921)
- Cynthia Mariah Hannon (1845–1913)
Elizabeth passed away on 5 Jun 1855 in North Carolina, aged 47.[2]
