The original date of death, 1829, cannot be correct since in the inventory at Matthys's death[5] it is stated:
...ende nagelaten door den Landbouwer Matthijs Greeff Hendriksz. ten voordeele van de bij desselfs vooroverledene huijsvroúw Anna Elizabeth Carstens in húwelijk verwekte Vijf minderjarige kinderen...
In other words Anna died before Matthijs (1780) and obviously after the birth of her youngest child, Johannes Augustus, in 1774. It seems the will[4] dated 13 June 1766 was filed with the "wees Camer" on 8 May 1775, after the death of Anna.
