Roy was born in 1915. He was the son of Charles Virgil Carter and Susan Malinda Bray.[1] In the 1930 census Roy (age 14) was the single son of Charles V Carter living in Conway, Orange, Florida, United States.[2]
In the 1940 census Roy (age 24) was the single son of Charles V Carter living in Election Precinct 24 Lake Underhill, Orange, Florida, United States.[3]
He was the second husband of Edna Mae Jolly, who had previously been married to James Joel Prevatt. Roy and Edna married in 1940[4], then divorced in 1949.[5]
Roy passed away in 1991 in Orange County, Florida.[6][7] An obituary was posted on 28 December 1991 in Florida, United States.[8] Burial was in the Woodlawn Memorial Park, Gotha, Orange County, Florida.[1]
