Amy Blanche Carter was born on October 25, 1870 in Oxford Junction, Cumberland, Nova Scotia, Canada, daughter of Theodore Harding Carter (1833– ) and Amy Ann Bragg (1842–1912).[1]

Her siblings were:

Amy married in 1893 to John Leander Allen (born on November 14, 1864 in Lockport, Shelburne Nova Scotia Canada). [2][3]

In 1870, Amy (-1) was living in Nova Scotia. [4]

Amy died between 1901 census [5] and 1910, when her husband remarried.[6]
