Biography
Harriett was born in 1812. She was the daughter of Thomas Carter and Mary Proctor.
Edward Balston married Harriet Anne Carter on 1 August 1850, in Burnham, Buckinghamshire, Edward was a master at Eton College, and the son of William Balston esq., Harriet was the daughter of the Rev. Thomas Carter. [1]
Harriet died at 61 Thames Street, Windsor on 21 July 1907. Probate was granted to Hugh Adolphus Carter, a solicitor, and Thomas Buchanan Carter, architect. [2]
