Ancestry of Phoebe Tilton 1775-1847 by Walter Goodwin Davis, pg. 235 states that it seems that Elizabeth Carter, husband of William Knight was the daughter of William and Thomasine Carter. Does anyone have a different reliable source of Elizabeth's parents? If not I would like to remove her parents here and put her with William and Thomasine.
