EWELL S. CARTER
Ewell S. Carter, 66, died Saturday at Kaiser Hospital in Walnut Creek.
Carter was a 40-year resident of Concord and a native of Viola, Ark.He was a retired carpenter for Tosco Oil Co. and a World War II ArmyVeteran.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Carter of Concord; two sons, James Carter of Pittsburg and Kenneth Carter of Costa Mesa; his mother, Macie Carter of Missouri; four sisters, four brothers and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Ouimet BrothersConcord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord. Burial will be inMemory Gardens Cemetery, Concord.
