Mary Cocke Carter was born in 1799. daughter of Landon Carter and Elizabeth Maclin. She married James Taylor on 22 August 1816. Together they had the following childen:

Mary passed away in 1840. There is a discrepancy in her death date however. One source below gives 19 Dec 1853 and Find A Grave gives 04 July 1840. Still researching for death certificate, but for now will go with the photographed death date of 1840 until a better source can be found.
